About Us
OUR PURPOSE is to…
- Establish a means of supporting and promoting the visual arts in Northeastern Connecticut and surrounding communities,
- Serve as an educational and practical resource for its members and
- Provide programs and services to encourage participation and appreciation of the visual arts of the people of the area.
WHO WE ARE
The Art Guild Northeast was founded in 1985 as a non-profit corporation. The guild is dedicated to fostering the artistic growth of its members. It strives to further the artistic understanding and appreciation of art throughout the communities of Northeast Connecticut. If you are an established, emerging, returning, or supporter of visual artist in any medium, considering joining us! Meetings are currently held at the Putnam Town Hall the second Thursday of the month from 6-8pm, with 5:30pm social time. Meetings are open to the public and new members are always welcome.
