Artist Gallery

Dorothy has lived in Voluntown, CT for many years. She works almost exclusively in pastels with a concentration in Plein Air Landscapes. She has had my work displayed in several galleries, including three person shows at the Lyon’s Den Gallery (Norwich, CT) and The Art Center in Southbridge, MA. She has been a member of The Mystic Art Association, Northeastern CT Art Guild, The Pastel Society of CT and the Northeastern CT Art Council. Her landscapes are created from various locations including Connecticut, Cape Cod, Florida, Arizona, California and Nova Scotia, Canada. Her painting objective is to vividly express all the colors in nature. Traveling the country in her RV with her two Mini-Dachshunds has enabled her and her husband, Steve, to savor the beauty of trees, deserts and oceans. "Retirement is WONDERFUL!"
