How to Submit Items to the Website
Class/Workshop
In an email to the web manager, please include:
- An image for the class, such as a sample of art that will be done.
- Title of the Class
- Instructor for the Class
- Coordinator’s Name and email (to receive online registrations by email)
- Date(s) and Time
- Location
- Short description of class and instructor
- Registration options, Full series Member, Full series non-member, and if they are able to sign up for just one class the member and non-member price.
- Registration Limit: if the class can only have so many students, the form will be set to that number and shut off registrations when that number is met.
Exhibit Prospectus
You can review current exhibit prospectuses posted on the website. In an email to the web manager, please include:
- Venue location including address.
- Exhibit Coordinator (EC): Name, Email, and phone # (optional). EC receives registrations by email.
- Deadline Date for Entry
- Drop Off/Hang Date & Time
- Strike/Pick up Date & Time
- Reception Date & Time. If there will not be one, just say none.
- Venue Commission & Management of Artwork Sales. If there isn’t a commission taken, say none.
- Number of Artworks Allowed per artist.
- Acceptable Artwork sizes/types/ hanging system info.
- Is there a limit to how many artists/submissions will be allowed?
Usually, the rest of the information in the prospectus stays the same, but please let me know if there are any changes.
How to submit your artworks for an Online Gallery
In an email to the web manager, please include:
- Your Name and Biography – Short bio about your education, experience, what you do, what you like to do art of, etc. Can be typed right in the email or as an attachment. PLEASE WRITE IN 3RD PERSON.
- Your website/link – No sales take place through the Art Guild website. Buyers must contact the artist directly. Please provide a link to your own website, Etsy, Facebook, Instagram for viewers to contact you directly to purchase art. Emails and phone numbers will not be listed to avoid unwanted spam. They can also contact the Art Guild through our Contact Us form and we will forward to you.
- Pictures of your artwork – Each artist can submit up to 10 pictures of artwork. Make sure your pictures are taken in GOOD LIGHTING, NO GLARE and STRAIGHT ON VIEW. Pictures can be cropped, or we will crop them when they are added to the website.
- OPTIONAL For each picture you may include Title, Medium, Size, and/or Price.
Member Meetings & Minutes
Our Member Meetings will be held at the Putnam Town Hall on the second Thursdays of the month. Meetings are from 6pm-8pm, with a 5:30pm social time.
