Day Kimball Exhibit

Venue location including address.  Day Kimball Health, The Ortho Group, 35
Kennedy Drive Putnam ,

Artwork will be displayed in offices, physicians’ offices, exam rooms and
the main waiting room.  The main waiting room is open Mon-Fri 9-5. 
Unfortunately, because of confidentiality, people cannot just walk in patient
areas.

Exhibit Coordinator (EC): EC receives registrations by email. Lisa Andrews, lisajandrews12@gmail.com, 860-933-2221, email Lisa directly if interested.  Include your website or attach images of a
few examples of work, because this is a juried show. Download, complete and
attach the contract with all your details.  This info will be used for tags.   

Deadline Date for Entry: Email by Friday April 1st 

Notification of Acceptance:   Lisa will be emailing artists on which pieces were
accepted.

Drop Off/Hang Date & Time Saturday April 5 th 10am- 12pm

Strike/Pick up Date & Time Saturday July 26th 10am- 12pm

Reception Date & Time. No Reception   

Venue Commission & Management of Artwork Sales. Commission is 20% of
sales: 10% to DKH Women’s Board, 10% to Curator for expenses.  All sales will
be initiated through Lisa Andrews but payment is to be handled between the
artist and the collector.

Number of Artworks Allowed per artist. 3

Acceptable Artwork sizes/types/ hanging system info. No smaller than 9 x
12″ no larger than 48 x 48″ (limited opportunities for larger work), All work must
be suitably framed/ and or finished with a sturdy wire – no Sawtooth Hangers.
Canvas work must be gallery wrapped.  Prints are allowed.

Is there a limit to how many artists/submissions will be allowed? Yes, there
are limited display spaces. 

Notes:

  • This is a 4-month commitment:  If a piece is sold, the artist may replace the
    work with something of the same size.
  • Artists will be asked to sign a contract (see attached).  The contract will outline additional details. Please read carefully.
  • There is no hanging/registration fee.
